Position Overview
The Head of Corporate will serve as a senior leader responsible for shaping and executing the company’s corporate strategy, ensuring financial discipline, legal compliance, and structural readiness for international growth. This role requires a hands-on and strategic leader who can manage both operational complexity and cross-border requirements, while serving as a close partner to the executive team.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Leadership
- Oversee global corporate structuring, governance, and compliance.
- Support strategic initiatives such as M&A, fundraising, and international expansion.
- Lead board and shareholder matters, ensuring proper documentation and statutory compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external advisors on corporate matters.
Finance Oversight
- Manage group budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Oversee tax, treasury, audit, and regulatory filings across multiple entities.
- Provide financial insights to support decision-making and business performance.
- Build scalable financial systems and processes to support growth.
Legal Oversight
- Lead legal operations, including contract negotiation, commercial agreements, and risk management.
- Ensure compliance with international laws and regulations (e.g. data privacy, IP).
- Manage external counsel and corporate secretarial partners.
- Implement internal legal processes and policy frameworks.
Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Law, or related field; CPA, CA, or JD preferred.
- 8+ years’ experience leading finance/legal functions in high-growth or international environments.
- Experience in cross-border structuring, compliance, and governance.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Background in gaming, tech, or digital sectors is a strong advantage.
