Proactive and versatile IT Manager or Assistant Manager to lead internal IT and AV operations. This role involves managing IT infrastructure (both on-prem and Cloud), overseeing AV systems, coordinating with vendors, and supporting organizational events. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage overall operations of the IT & AV systems and infrastructure
- In charge of installation, configuration, testing and commissioning of Systems (both on-prem AD and cloud – Azure and AWS), including Operating Systems, Applications Software and System Management Tools
- Align, track, plan and organise project activities and allocation of resources to meet deliverables from project objectives, within allocated budget
- Responsible for infrastructure roadmaps and disaster recovery services to mitigate future service interruptions
- Testing of Applications for performance, stability and reliability, such as load test, including identification of potential issues, bugs, bottlenecks and working with vendors and developers to provide solution and fixes
- Establishes and maintains network performance and fix any network issue.
- Able to install new hardware or software systems or components, ensuring integration with new network systems implementation, including security or firewall software
- Track IT Assets / Equipment, purchase of IT related equipment and control IT related inventories
- Oversee Lodge’s data and information security, control structures, network access and backup systems
- Oversee the fulfilment of Business Continuity Planning (BCP), Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP) and Cyber Security Incident Response Plan
- Oversee AV systems including audio/video devices, hall-to-hall routing, and broadcasting (e.g., YouTube streaming).
- Manage AV standards and technologies such as DANTE, BlueBridge, Cisco switches and routers.
- Plan and support AV setups for internal and external events.
- Supervise AV team and coordinate manpower planning for events.
- Responsible for providing strong leadership for all matters relating to operations support Perform ad-hoc assignments as directed, using experience and knowledge acquired on the job, such as testing and installation of networks and system related for projects
Requirement
- Degree in Computer Science, or any related discipline from recognized institution
- Good knowledge in System Administration and Networking. Network and Cyber Security Certification would be added advantage
- Possess at least at least 5 years of network experience in enterprise network and office environment
- Good knowledge in Operating Systems (Linux & Windows) TCP/IP, HTTPS, JSON, REST API, Databases and Security protocols
- Experienced in Project Management with problem solving and analytical skills
- Experienced in System Implementation
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Meticulous and keen to learn new technologies
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Hands-on experience is preferred
- Must be able to work on weekends and public holidays
