What you will do
Accelerate new product and Line extension launches, e.g. Imdelltra, Blincyto 1L ALL, XGEVA PFS, LUMAKRAS CRC and BEMA
- Partner with GCEL to plan and work with Country Brand Team (CBT) members to prepare new product and line extension launches
- Provide strategic input to affiliates and regional management team to make filing decision according to Commit-To-File process
- Support CBTs to conduct market evaluation and business case
- Coordinate with Global Brand Teams to transfer knowledge to prepare CBTs to kick start market evaluation and launch preparation following the Launch Excellence process
- Provide regular update to regional management team on the launch progress and magnify significant gaps or set-backs.
Interact cross functionally to optimize support above countries
- Align with Global and Regional Function Heads / Leads in Medical, Value & Access, Regulatory, Supply Chain and GCC to provide support to affiliates
- Ensure effective communication across functions to enhance efficiency and speed to address challenges or obstacles
Operationalize Global-with-Local and Local-with-Local model
- Represent JAPAC RoW and provide input to Global Integrated Brand Team (IBT) and Brand Working Group (BWG) to support insight mining, strategy development and brand plan development
- Prioritize questions and requests of RoW to Global Brand Teams
- Coordinate/deliver best practice sharing, together with Lead Markets and the RoW affiliates
- Enhance communication through existing / new platforms, e.g. MS TEAMs, country network meetings & oncology communities
Brand Planning, LRS and Brand Performance
- Partner with GCC (BAI) to deliver Global guidance to affiliates
- Support country GMs to critically review and challenge the brand assumptions
- Provide oversight of deliverables to ensure consistency with Global strategy

- BM/SBM with 4+ years of Marketing experience
- Strategic and analytics mindset with detailed knowledge of (1) Market, Disease, Customer and Product; (2) Brand/Customer Strategy and (3) Business Planning
- Confident self-starter, agile and adaptable, comfortable working remotely
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills based on leveraging sound data and evidence
- Project management skills with proven strengths in planning, organizing and attention to detail
- Energetic, engaging and focussed leader who can establish rapport and trust quickly
- Has a strong collaboration and customer service mindset to partner closely with affiliates to deliver results and shape Amgen's future
- Strong people skills, and highly motivated to advance a culture of collaboration and influence across affiliate, region and global organisational boundaries
