We’re partnering with an emerging tech company working on advanced intelligent hardware. The team is building a highly complex electromechanical system from the ground up and is looking for a Lead Electromechanical Systems Engineer to drive end-to-end integration across mechanical and electrical domains.
Job Descriptions
- Define and integrate power and signal distribution systems (e.g., connectors, harnesses, interface layouts).
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, firmware, manufacturing) to deliver functional, scalable hardware.
- Lead packaging of electronic modules and cabling within space- and thermally-constrained environments.
- Oversee prototype builds, testing, and performance validation.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturing partners to support production readiness.
- Mentor junior engineers and establish process standards (e.g., ECOs, design reviews).
Job Requirements
- At least 5 years in electromechanical integration (e.g., hardware devices, automation, or embedded systems).
- Strong understanding of harnessing, connector systems, and electronics fundamentals.
- Skilled in CAD tools (CATIA or similar) and basic scripting (Python or C) for testing/debugging. Excellent communication and ability to navigate cross-functional collaboration.
