The Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN) is a not-for-profit organisation established by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) in 2024 to harness technology and foster innovation for more efficient, resilient, and inclusive financial ecosystems through global partnerships. GFTN organises convening forums, offers advisory services on innovation ecosystems, provides access to transformative digital platforms, and invest in technology startups with the potential for growth and positive social impact through its venture fund.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, close, and manage partnerships with corporates, government agencies, investors, and innovation stakeholders.
- Understand GFTN Learning Institute’s suite of products and services, and match them to client needs.
- Develop customized proposals to secure paid and in-kind partnerships with corporates, government agencies, investors, and innovation stakeholders
- Collaborate with the Community Engagement Manager/Associate to identify and engage specific individuals from partner and client organisations to support our programmes through roles including mentors, subject matter experts, and evaluators.
- Serve as a key liaison between clients, external partners and the internal team to ensure alignment of expectations, timelines, and deliverables.
- Support the Community Engagement Manager/Associate in the design and coordination of events such as masterclasses, pitch clinics, and networking sessions.
Qualifications & Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in partnerships, business development, or innovation programme roles
- Strong network and understanding of the startup, venture, corporate innovation, capacity building ecosystem.
- Comfortable with consultative selling and stakeholder engagement
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—able to build trust and credibility with senior stakeholders.
