Are you a finance or accounting professional ready to step into a strategic role in partnerships and sponsorships ? We're looking for a Partnerships Lead to drive impactful sponsored events, strengthen partner relationships, and support new sponsorship opportunities — all while leveraging your analytical edge.
This role is ideal for someone with a finance or accounting background who wants to broaden their impact through event strategy, partner engagement, and business development in a mission-driven organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Event-Based Partnership Execution (including ISCA Conference, Tech Fairs, Roundtables)
- Lead the end-to-end execution of key sponsored events
- Curation of content and speakers for all sponsor entitlements
- Support in the development of conference & exhibitor activities
- Collaborate with marketing teams to curate event themes, identify speakers, and develop compelling branding, campaigns and personalised invitations
Partnerships
- Support the growth of the ISCA Partnership Program in achieving sponsorship revenue targets
- Manage ongoing sponsor relationships with a focus on retention and value delivery.
- Manage and improve performance metrics of entitlements to sponsors
- Interface, negotiate and develop high-impact relationships with sponsors to build business partnerships and support company growth.
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients; ensure continuing relationships and an effective flow of information to deliver business objectives
What we're looking for:
- Degree in Accountancy or Business preferred
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience, preferably with exposure to project management, events, business development, sponsorship or stakeholder engagement.
- Strong in analytics, financial reporting, budgeting, and cost allocations
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and event management platforms.
- Experience in member-based/B2B organisations, higher education, professionals, or roles involving education, engagement, or events is a plus
- Excellent project management skills to handle multiple projects/ priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
- Detailed-oriented and organised to ensure accuracy and quality of programme development
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and display abilities as a good team player.
