Singapore

[What the role is]

Are you ready to reimagine how Singaporeans experience healthy living in their daily lives?
Singaporeans move through multiple settings each day - from offices to shopping malls, residential areas to community spaces.

Each of these environments presents unique opportunities to promote and support healthy living.
We take a holistic approach by creating seamless experiences that meet citizens where they are. Through strategic engagements with corporate networks, property owners, companies, grassroots leaders, and community partners, we implement regional, integrated outreach that foster sustainable healthy behaviours across different settings. Our approach recognises the unique challenges in each setting - from aligning health initiatives with diverse corporate priorities and readiness levels, to addressing varied community needs through ground-up engagement and data-driven planning.
Our focus areas include obesity prevention, chronic disease management, and mental well-being - delivered through coordinated touchpoints that reflect how people naturally live, work, and play. By breaking down traditional silos and leveraging data dashboards for co-planning initiatives, we ensure our health promotion initiatives resonate with citizens' daily routines and real-life needs.

[What you will be working on]

The Integrated Outreach Department co-creates and implements impactful programmes with community, workplace and grassroots partners. We identify opportunities with local stakeholders, coordinate ground activations, and measure impact through data-driven approaches. Serving 1.1 to 1.45 million residents of diverse backgrounds within our designated region, we transform local environment settings into enablers of good health.

Key responsibilities:
(1) Support Development and Data-Driven Execution of Regional On-Ground Strategy
  • Localise and operationalise outreach strategies to meet unique needs of residents and workers within the designated region
  • Design and implement integrated health initiatives across workplace and community settings, leveraging analytics and behavioural insights to adapt national programmes to local contexts and maximise impact and resource efficiency
  • Assist in segmenting population data to inform programme design and engagement strategies, including expanding outreach to working adults
  • Work with Programme Managers and Service Providers to ensure smooth delivery of health promotion activities in the region
  • Establish programme metrics and KPIs, track impact through data analysis where possible, and support partners in data interpretation, and encourage partners in using data for planning and improvement

(2) Stakeholder Engagement and Partnership Management
  • Build and maintain strategic and sustainable partnerships with local stakeholders including community partners, building owners and companies to advance health promotion efforts
  • Support in expanding the local stakeholder network to increase partner involvement
  • Drive partner participation in programme delivery, and encourage companies to adopt Health Promoting Company practices

(3) Programme Operations, Innovation and Evaluation
  • Develop and implement effective health promotion programmes through market research and stakeholder engagement, ensuring programmes address localised needs of workers and residents in the region
  • Establish programme metrics and evaluation frameworks to measure programme effectiveness and health outcomes
  • Support the development of scalable, sustainable models for regional programme delivery
  • Ensure operational readiness and quality assurance for programme implementation, including systems and risk mitigation
  • Analyse programme data and present clear findings to stakeholders for programme enhancement
  • Capture learnings and best practices through knowledge management efforts
