Job Description
1. Responsible for generating regional growth, developing and managing major partner accounts in China.
2. To develop effective business opportunities and partnerships with our Singapore and SEA working partners/clients.
3. Stay updated on industry trends and developments within the metal sector.
4. Consistently meet or exceed revenue targets and performance expectations.
5. Develop and implement growth strategies focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
6. Provide reliable feedback and effective after-sales support.
7. Manage purchasing budgets and prepare procurement reports.
8. Establish and work towards long-term cost reduction goals.
Requirements
1. A minimum of 6 years of relevant working experience in the metal industry. (E.g., Demonstrated success as a Business Development Manager, Senior Sales Executive, or a similar role.)
2. Strong negotiation skills with solid commercial and market awareness.
3. Proven experience in vendor networking and strategic sourcing.
4. Experience in customer support is an added advantage.
5. In-depth market knowledge and industry insights.
6. Excellent time management and planning abilities.
7. Strong network of clientele information within the mixed metals manufacturing and trading sector in China.
8. Willing to travel extensively to multiple provinces in China on a short- to medium-term basis.
9. Proficient in bilingual Mandarin and English, and able to communicate effectively in a mainly Mandarin-speaking environment.
