Our client is a Global MNC, one of the leading players in the Logistics/Transportation sector. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Sea Freight Operation Assistant to be part of their team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the Central– easily accessible.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and update shipment data accurately in internal and external systems
- Monitor incoming shipments, permit declarations, and dangerous goods compliance, ensuring all regulatory and security procedures are followed.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and overseas offices to handle customer bookings, resolve cargo irregularities, and support claims processes.
- Verify and process freight invoices, maintain billing accuracy, and ensure customer-specific SOPs and global standards are met.
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain Management or other relevant field of studies.
- Minimum 1~2 years of working experience in a similar position in Freight Forwarding
