Job Description
- Oversee and manage Post Fixtures aspects of ship chartering activities to ensure optimum and efficient employment of managed and operated ships.
- Ensure all vessel’s operations are effectively carried out and sufficiently resourced through detailed planning in advance.
- Minimize ships’ idle time through well thought processes and planning. Monitor their positioning, movement and cargo loading or discharging processes.
- Handle various types of charters, including time charters, voyage charters, and bareboat charters, depending on client requirements.
- Work closely with vessel owners, shipping agents, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on all aspects of the vessel’s daily operations and initiate any enhancements for maximum customer satisfaction.
- Ensure proper reporting on assigned ships, periodic voyage performance reviews, port charges and expenditures are presented to senior management, timely and regularly.
- Review and enhance processes to achieve business objectives and operational effectiveness continually.
- Ensure all chartering activities comply with international shipping regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
- Track and monitor expenses related to chartering vessels, ensuring the budget is adhered to.
- Carry out other duties assigned by the Senior Management.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, Business, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 1-2 years operation experience in dry bulk
- Familiarity with vessel types, chartering terms, and international shipping regulations.
- Highly motivated and focused
- Committed and able to work at odd hours as required.
