Location: Novena | Sector: Private Day Surgery Centre ️ Operating Theatre Nurse (Full-Time | 5.5 Days)
Join a well-established private medical centre in Novena, specializing in Eye, General Surgery (GS), and Orthopaedic procedures. We’re looking for dedicated and capable nurses to support our Operating Theatre (OT) team in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in surgeries as a scrub and/or circulating nurse , ensuring sterile technique and safe instrument handling
- Comfortable in a scrub role as part of daily OT duties
- Prepare OT equipment and assist with pre- and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow infection control and safety protocols Ensure smooth surgical workflows and compliance with OT standards

- ️ Senior/Supervisory Nurses (Additional Duties):
- Oversee daily OT scheduling and case planning
- Lead, mentor, and train junior staff
- Conduct audits and ensure MOH/SNB compliance Monitor incident reports, quality control, and workflow improvements
Patient & Team Collaboration:
- Provide support to patients and families before and after surgery
- Communicate effectively with doctors, anaesthetists, and medical staff to ensure seamless procedures
✅ Requirements:
- Valid SNB registration
- Prior OT experience preferred (training available for nurses new to OT)
- Good clinical judgment, a team player, and strong attention to detail Knowledge of surgical instruments and sterile procedures is an advantage
Working Hours & Benefits:
- 5.5-day work week
- Shifts: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM / 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM (rotating)
