Join Dynamics International School as a Speech Language Therapist, where you will work within a dynamic and diverse international school setting, supporting students with speech, language, and communication difficulties.
This role offers a unique opportunity to assess, diagnose, and provide therapy to students while collaborating closely with teachers and parents to implement effective communication strategies within the classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students for speech, language, and communication disorders through screenings, evaluations, and diagnostic tools.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Provide direct therapy to students in both one-on-one and group settings.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate language goals into daily classroom activities.
- Work with parents and caregivers to provide home-based strategies that support student progress.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input on speech and language goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, therapy plans, and intervention outcomes.
- Deliver professional development and consultation to teachers on strategies for supporting students with speech and language needs in the classroom.
- Foster an inclusive and encouraging learning environment for students with communication challenges.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Therapy from a recognized accredited institution.
- Candidates must either be fully registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) Singapore or be eligible for registration.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to working with children and families.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, school staff, and parents to achieve student success.
- Organizational skills for maintaining records, documenting progress, and managing therapy materials.
