Position Overview
The Physiotherapist is responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering evidence-based physiotherapy treatments to patients with physical impairments, disabilities, or injuries. The role focuses on restoring mobility, reducing pain, and improving overall function and quality of life, while ensuring patient safety, education, and empowerment throughout the rehabilitation process.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments of patients’ physical conditions and functional abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans.
- Provide hands-on therapy, exercise programs, and manual techniques to aid recovery.
- Evaluate patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals for integrated care.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, exercise techniques, posture, and injury prevention.
- Promote independence and self-management strategies where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient treatment records.
- Ensure compliance with clinical, safety, and infection control protocols.
- Participate in audits, quality improvement initiatives, and professional development programs.
- Provide oversight, guidance, and supervision to the company's sport trainers,students, and interns in the course of their engagement
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent recognized qualification).
- Fully registered or eligible for registration with AHPC Singapore
- Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred (new grads with strong clinical placements also welcome)
- Strong clinical reasoning, manual therapy and exercise prescription skills
- Experience or interest in working with sports injuries, musculoskeletal conditions, or chronic disease
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Empathetic, patient-focused, and committed to evidence-based practice.
