[What the role is]
You will join the team in managing Jurong Lake Gardens, the national gardens in the heartlands, serving the recreational and lifestyle pursuits of our community.[What you will be working on]
Your core responsibility will be facilities management and managing the sustainability and living lab initiatives of the Gardens:
Implement preventive maintenance regime and corrective works for facilities and fixed assets, including garden attractions and pump systems.
Plan and implement periodic maintenance and replacement of facilities and fixed assets.
Work closely with innovative partners such as external companies and Institutes of Higher Learning to source and test bed solutions/proof of concepts to enhance garden operations and efficiency.
Establish collaboration agreements, monitor, review, assess and recommend the effectiveness and performance of test pilots.
Collaborate with other workstreams in NParks to promote Science & Technology within the organisation .
Apart from the above, you can also be involved in a diverse range of activities within the organisation, including helping with programming and events, park surveys and various landscaping and biodiversity enhancement projects.
[What we are looking for]
Areas of study in estate/ facilities management/engineering or related discipline.
Experience in project management or technology related work would be beneficial.
Enjoy working outdoors, doing field work and interacting with people.
Able to multi-task and perform a diverse range of duties.
A team player, who possess good interpersonal, communication and writing skills to connect with various stakeholders.
Willing to work after office hours and during weekends and public holidays when required.
