Our client is a listed company in Precision Manufacturing industry. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Procurement Manager to be part of their Procurement Team. They are located in the East Area - easily accessible.
Duties of Procurement Manager:
- Formulate sourcing strategies that align with production schedules, cost targets, and quality standards.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality materials, and timely delivery.
- Lead the procurement team in executing daily purchasing activities including issuing POs, tracking orders, and managing inventory levels.
- Analyze purchasing trends, cost drivers, and market conditions to identify opportunities for savings and value creation.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier contracts, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Work closely with production, planning, quality, and finance teams to forecast needs, resolve supply issues, and support operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Min 8 - 10 years of procurement experience in semiconductor or precision manufacturing industry
