Professional Tile Installers

JSB Consultancy Pte. Ltd. is a dynamic and growing company in Singapore, committed to delivering high-quality craftsmanship and exceptional service. We are currently seeking experienced and dedicated Professional Tile Installers to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately measure, cut, and shape tiles (ceramic, porcelain, mosaic, natural stone, etc.) to fit various surfaces and designs.
• Prepare surfaces for tiling, including cleaning, leveling, applying waterproofing materials, and creating tile beds using appropriate materials (e.g., concrete, mastic, mortar).
• Lay and install tiles in various patterns on floors, walls, and other surfaces, ensuring proper alignment, spacing, and adhesion.
• Apply grout and seal tiles effectively to ensure durability and water resistance.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and installation procedures.
• Inspect and rectify any imperfections or issues during and after installation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly cared for.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies on job sites.
Collaborate effectively with project managers, supervisors, and other team members.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in various tile installation techniques and methodologies
• Expertise in using hand and power tools (tile cutters, grinders, trowels, levels, etc.).
• Strong understanding of different types of tiles and their appropriate applications.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality finishing.
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Professional Tile Installer.

Preferred Skills (Not mandatory but an advantage):

• Experience with complex decorative tiling patterns.
• Knowledge of waterproofing systems for bathrooms and wet areas.
• Ability to work on diverse projects (residential, commercial, industrial).
