Responsibilities
The quantity surveyor’s duties shall include the followings:
- Attend to client’s briefing and establish the scope of project at hand
- Preparation of feasibility studies
- Preparation of cost plans, cost estimates and cash flow projections
- Advice clients on procurement strategy
- Preparation of tender documents
- Evaluation of tenders received and make recommendations for award of Contract
- Preparation of Letter of Acceptance and Contract Documents
- Evaluation of progressive claims
- Financial reporting including evaluation of variation work during the progress of work
- Advice clients on contractual issues
- Preparation of Final Account
Requirements
The quantity surveyor should preferably possess the following attributes:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
- Preferably with at least 2 years of relevant working experience.
