About the Team
As an integral part of Bytedance's Real Estate department, the Smart Space team aims to provide employees with a safe, convenient, flexible, cross-border distribution and a comfortable working environment through innovative intelligent hardware applications and space resource planning. To enable continuous improvement of employees' work efficiency and experience, we strive to combine TikTok's mission, vision and values to create our unique smart workspace.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for defining the functions and parameters of smart real estate hardware and peripheral accessories, clarifying testing requirements, and ensuring responsibility for user experience, integration efficiency, and delivery quality.
- Research and track industry development, technological trends, and market changes in the forefront of smart hardware, complete requirement analysis, and explore product opportunities.
- Independently plan, prototype, design product processes, and interaction design, including definition, design, promotion, etc., and complete the writing of required documents.
- Coordinate and promote internal R&D teams and external partners to complete product development and launch on time and with high quality.
- Independently responsible for the landing of pilot projects or small projects, and able to serve as a project manager during the process.
- Research and track industry development, technological trends, and market changes in the forefront of smart hardware, complete requirement analysis, and discover product opportunities.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or above, with 3+ years of work experience in the field of smart hardware, familiar with the overall architecture of the Internet of Things.
- Familiar with the development process of smart hardware products, independently formulate execution plans for each stage such as prototyping, development, and product.
- Have a strong product sense and user mindset, with a strong perception of the needs of B-end users and the experience of C-end users.
- Have the ability to independently promote and manage projects, with good communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Good at capturing industry trends and market dynamics, with keen business sense and insightful product insights, and can discover new products/new directions combined with requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in building and developing IoT devices, networks, and systems is preferred. Experience or research in smart lighting, sensor/vision technology, office air treatment, smart furniture, space resources, etc., is preferred.
- Having a certain understanding of the overall architecture of the Internet of Iot system (the typical perception layer, network layer, platform layer, and application layer) is preferred.
- Experience of developing products from 0 to 1 is preferred.
