We are looking for a research assistant to work on the development of reconfigurable electromagnetic coil system for collaborative control of multiple capsule robots.
Key Responsbilities
The research assistant will work on a project to conduct the investigation on development of ingestible robotic system to enable non-invasive diagnosis and therapeutics in the gastrointestinal tract.
The roles of this position include:
- To conduct research on the development of ingestible electronic/robotic platform capable of continuous monitoring and on-demand for the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease.
- Integration of power management circuit, actuators for motion control, and monitoring sensors.
Job Requirements
- BS in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, computer engineering, or related field
- 4-year research experience in related area
- Expertise in embedded system and Robotic Operation System
- Knowledge in interfacing circuit design for power management
- Experience in electromagnetic fields control is highly preferred
- Publication track record is an advantage
- Proficiency in basics of programming languages such as C, C++ and Python
