Job Overview:
Lead daily maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic repairs of robotic systems. No degree/certification required, but candidates must have hands-on equipment repair experience, willingness to learn new technologies, and adaptability to dock environments.
On Site Requirement:
Aboard work vessels/docks for maintanance is required during training and if as informed.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Maintenance Execution:
Diagnose and repair robotic systems (mechanical/electrical/hydraulic) and develop preventive maintenance (PM) SOPs.
Flexible Criteria: Experience maintaining industrial machinery (e.g., production lines, printing/processing equipment) is acceptable. Maritime experience is optional but beneficial.
Manage third-party vendors for cost-effective repairs and spare parts procurement.
Minimize downtime (MTTR) during emergencies.
2.Maintenance Planning
Implement predictive maintenance (PdM) using operational data (vibration/temperature/energy).
Optimize spare parts inventory (ABC analysis).
Conduct Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) to address critical failure modes.
3.Team Development
Train technicians on robotics maintenance (e.g., arm calibration, sensor replacement).
Assess team competency via skill matrices and provide feedback.
Host workshops on best practices (e.g., marine robotics case studies).
4.Data & Reporting
Analyze MTBF, MTTR, and parts usage for monthly reliability reports.
Recommend design/process improvements (e.g., waterproofing, material upgrades) via Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
Report equipment health and cost trends to management.
Job Requirement
1.Polytechnic/ITE or equivalent (no degree required).
2.2+ years in industrial equipment repair (production lines, logistics machinery, heavy equipment).
3.Robotics experience optional; training provided.
4.Proficiency with basic tools (multimeters, wrenches, testers).
5.Eagerness to learn robotics technology.
