We are seeking a talented and driven Sales Engineer to join our team at AFFCO FLOW CONTROL PTE. LTD., based in the Central Region. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving new business development and expanding our client base.
What you'll be doing
- Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities
- Engage with potential clients to understand their needs and requirements, and provide tailored solutions
- Prepare and present compelling sales proposals and product demonstrations
- Collaborate cross-functionally with our overseas technical and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, providing exceptional customer service
- Contribute to the development of sales strategies and initiatives to drive growth
- Actively participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities to expand your industry knowledge and identify new business leads
What we're looking for
- Proven track record of success in a sales engineer or technical sales role, preferably within the marine or oil and gas indusrtries
- Strong technical aptitude and understanding of engineering principles and product applications
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively translate complex technical information into clear and compelling value propositions
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, and to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a keen eye for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering or a related technical field
