Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused SCCM VMware Support Specialist to provide comprehensive 24 hours shift technical support across Mac and Windows environments. This role involves troubleshooting, system updates, application support, and hands-on assistance with both software and hardware. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting VIP users, working with MDM solutions like Jamf and VMware Workspace ONE, and performing hardware setup and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all systems are up-to-date with the latest OS and security patches.
- Troubleshoot and resolve macOS and Mac hardware/software issues.
- Install and support software applications across both Mac and Windows OS.
- Provide high-touch support to VIP users with professionalism and attention to detail.
- Use SCCM for Windows imaging, and manage deployment workflows during migration projects.
- Configure and troubleshoot Mac devices in a mixed environment.
- Manage mobile device configurations using Jamf Pro and VMware Workspace ONE (MDM).
- Perform physical setup, rack-and-stack, and maintenance of network infrastructure (routers, switches, access points).
- Deliver audiovisual (AV) support for meetings, ensuring functionality and pre-meeting quality checks.
- Assist with scheduled maintenance and IT equipment recovery following power shutdowns.
- Maintain strong user relationships, ensuring prompt resolution and user satisfaction.
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of IT support experience in a hybrid Mac/Windows environment.
- Hands-on experience with SCCM, Jamf Pro, and VMware Workspace ONE.
- Proficient in diagnosing and resolving technical issues across multiple operating systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially in VIP support situations.
- Familiarity with AV equipment and conference room support.
- Basic networking knowledge, including handling routers, switches, and access points.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP), or similar.
- Experience with enterprise-level Windows deployments.
- Familiarity with ITIL-based support environments.
