OVERVIEW
We are seeking a motivated and strategic leader to oversee DSTA’s corporate services function, including employee services, workplace environment, asset management, records management, and event organisation. You will play a key role in curating the employee experience, driving operational excellence, and shaping future-ready workplace solutions through innovation and smart technologies.
You will lead a dynamic and diverse team to:
- Lead strategic workforce transformation initiatives to modernise and streamline corporates services, leveraging digital technologies and industry best practices.
- Develop and implement employee services programmes that enhance engagement, welfare and wellness.
- Oversee smart facilities management through the deployment of IoT solutions to create a sustainable and high-performing office environment.
- Provide strategic oversight on asset management to ensure proper accountability, tracking, and optimal utilisation of organisational resources.
- Supervise the planning and execution of corporate events, including conferences, workshops and exhibitions aligned with organisational goals.
- Ensure proper governance and compliance in records management, in accordance with relevant policies, regulations and standards.
- Champion innovation and green initiatives to promote a safe, efficient, and positive work environment.
- Source, evaluate and establish facilities maintenance and management contracts for DSTA premises, including outsourced, services and systems support.
- Lead the planning and budgeting for the corporate services function, balancing operational needs with cost-effectiveness and long-term sustainability.
- Analyse operational data, including employee feedback, utility consumption, equipment performance and service levels, to support continuous improvement and sustainability.
- Support management duties and contribute to special projects as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Tertiary qualification.
- At least 15 years of relevant experience in a leadership role, preferably within the public sector or defence-related organisation.
- Familiarity with digital solutions and best practices in employee services, facilities management, asset and records management is preferred.
- Experience in planning and delivering large scale events would be advantageous.
- Proven ability to lead and manage organisational change.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
