The Law Society of Singapore is seeking a dynamic and resourceful Executive Officer / Senior Executive Officer to join its Knowledge Management Department. This role provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to the professional growth of our members through the planning and delivery of specialized professional training activities, as well as the curation and management of knowledge resources.
Key Responsibilities
Programme and Event Management
- Plan, organise and coordinate specialized professional training seminars, workshops, and events (in-person and virtual) to ensure smooth execution and positive participant experience
- Support end-to-end event management, including vendor liaison, logistics, registration, on-site/online facilitation, and post-event evaluation
- Assist in programme promotion and marketing initiatives, including use of software tools for simple design and video editing
Knowledge and Resource Management
- Maintain accurate records, documentation and databases for programmes, including attendance, accreditation and evaluation data
- Support knowledge management initiatives, including the review, curation and updating of programme materials to ensure continued relevance and accessibility
- Prepare reports, statistics and finance tracking with basic analysis to support decision-making and planning
General Support
- Respond to member queries on specialized training programmes and accreditation matters
- Work collaboratively with colleagues on programme reviews and curriculum development
- Perform other administrative and project-related tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in professional development training, knowledge management, or event/project management
- Resilient, detail-oriented, team player and solutions-driven, with strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to multi-task and work independently within lean timelines
- Confident in liaising with members of the Judiciary and legal community
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Passionate about lifelong learning and knowledge sharing
