Requirements:
- At least a diploma and above. Degree preferred.
- At least 3-year experience in training and competence / compliance audit in Financial Services industry
- Preferably have experience working in a licensed financial adviser set-up
- Knowledge and experience in sales processes of life and health insurance, unit trusts, securities
- Good knowledge of industry regulations and guidelines eg. FAA, SFA, LIA MUs & MCs, GI would be an advantage
- Possess the relevant licensing examinations: CMFAS Module 5, 8, 8A, 9, 9A, and Certificate in Health Insurance; or equivalents
- Professional qualification in AFC, AFP, ChFC, etc would be an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal skill
He/she will be responsible in driving good practices, establish the standards and work with IAG management in ensuring the IAG sales force fulfil the required expectations, in accordance with the company and industry standards in following key areas:
1. Uphold the sales advisory process expectations:
- Upkeep the sales advisory process expectations in accordance with regulatory requirements and company needs.
- Ensure sales advisory process guide, sales process documentation and training materials are kept up-to date
- Develop and maintain the system application on sales advisory up to date, prepare systems requirements and execute UAT
- Prepare and conduct briefings, training to sales force, as needed
2. Enforce specified Training & Competence (T&C) regime by policy enforcement, monitoring of fulfilment of requirements, performing field-based inspections such as :
- Conduct thematic sales documentation and supervisory duties checks prepare audit findings, reports and management update
- Monitoring of CPD hours, mandatory training, performance of supervisory duties
- Implement initiatives, monitor processes and conduct constant reviews to improve competency standards of supervisors and advisors
3. Perform due diligence monitoring, activate needed service recovery, apply preventive measures in proper sales advisory, replacement of policies and supervisory duties which include
- Conducting reviews on sales documentation and supervisory duties
- Conducting regular replacement of policies activities
- Applying safeguards, controls and appropriate corrective measures in upholding expected conduct
- Preparing audit reports and management updates and managing data and conduct trend analysis
4. Undertake projects and execute activities assigned to team
