Job Responsibilities
- Provide Business Partner support to assigned Business units - Handling queries pertaining to HR processes (Discipline, Policies & Procedures, Payroll, Staff Movement etc).
- Responds to Team Members’ Complaints/Grievances/Comments.
- Conduct of Focus Group Meetings with departments.
- Resignations – Processing relevant paperwork via workday for Resigning TMs and conduct of exit interviews and clearance.
- Transfers/Promotions/Salary Adjustments – Assists with Compensation matters and other HR teams on the entire process.
- Maintaining TMs disciplinary records and documentation.
- Reviewing records for Staff Movement purposes (Promotions, Transfers, Salary Adjustments, Rehires).
- Handles Terminations/Dismissals
- Reviewing of Termination/Dismissal paperwork (Breach of Contract etc).
- Conduct fair, thorough, and timely investigations into allegations on violations of company policies or local regulations to ensure fair treatment of all employees.
- Provide guidance to stakeholders on investigation processes. Advise on and support internal disciplinary processes for policy violations.
- De-escalate and resolve matters as appropriate using empathetic listening and conflict resolution skills.
- Work with Compliance and Legal to identify root causes of misconduct/behavioral issues.
- Provide effective recommendations and corrective measures objectively and ensure fair treatment and measured assessment based off precedents.
- Preparation of reports for trend analysis and strategizing corrective action plans.
- Partnering with Business units on Talent identification and succession planning.
- Participating in progressive HR or cross-functional improvement projects
- Partnering with Business units on salary review program, performance management, appraisal and year end process.
- Assist with any internal HR Events.
Job Requirements
Education & Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
Experience
- 5+ years in Human Resources or related area (such as employment law), with at least 2 years’ experience in managing employee conduct, grievances, investigation and employment governance matters.
Other Prerequisites
- Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills; must display a balanced, objective approach and sound judgment when recommending a course of action or handling an investigation.
- Demonstrable skills to deliver business focused HR solutions through effective influencing and communication skills when recommending and implementing solutions with stakeholders.
- Good knowledge of employment legislations and government statutory requirements.
- Self-directed individual who demonstrates initiative, agility, resourcefulness and good judgment.
- Resilient and versatile, quick in setting and adjusting priorities, able to adapt to changing situations.
- Exhibits impartiality and fairness.
- High integrity, pragmatism and a “can do” attitude.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
