THE ROLE AND THE BUSINESS:
The Senior MetaTrader Operations Specialist will provide support for CMC’s current MT4 offering, champion the business requirements for any enhancements of the MetaTrader offering and improve & enhance current operational processes.
The role will suit someone who is self-motivated, has a natural ability in problem-solving and is solutions oriented. As the MetaTrader offering is continuously changing and growing; we want to continuously adapt in order to remain one of the Market Leaders for their MT4 offering.
The role allows for several interactions across the business such as Business Operations, IT Development, Client Services, Sales, Project Management, Product and many more across our global offices.
RESPONSIBILITIES
To provide business operations support to all aspects of running CMC’s MetaTrader platform, including:
- Work closely with Development Teams and Product Owners to design and document all business requirements for all MetaTrader projects.
- Provide support through the development and roll-out of MetaTrader changes, taking ownership of business testing and post go live monitoring.
- Develop a detailed understanding of CMC Markets internal systems and the integration with MetaTrader systems to provide ongoing maintenance and support.
- Ensure creation and maintenance of business documentation relating to the running and support of MetaTrader, including manuals and procedure documents.
- Administration and post trade support in relation to MetaTrader connectivity and trading activity.
- 2nd Tier Resolution of MetaTrader customer queries, complaints, and escalation of complaint where appropriate.
- Design and implement workflow and procedures for Business Operations and deliver any cross-training to support any operational queries and trade handling.
- Maintenance of any related MetaTrader configuration.
- Work close with Trading Application Support team to ensure sufficient and appropriate monitoring of all relevant systems across all market hours.
- Maintain personal/professional development to meet the changing demands of the role, including all relevant regulatory and legislative training.
- When dealing with all customers, clients or colleagues ensure that we provide a clear, fair and a consistently high-quality service that presents a professional and positive image of CMC Markets.
- Take all reasonable steps to ensure appropriate confidentiality.
- Undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required, and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this role.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Strong understanding of MetaTrader Client, Admin & Manager Consoles and associated processes (mandatory).
- Proven experience managing business process change and technology implementation projects
- Ability to build solid working relationships with key stakeholders
- Ability to understand and document business requirements and translate to technical members of the team
- Methodical and thorough approach to tasks, able to work to deadlines
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Working knowledge of financial markets and related products.
- Experience within Financial sector.
