JOB PURPOSE
To assist the Finance Director and the Manager:
a) Process Payroll; and
b) Provide secretariat support.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Payroll - Monthly
- Perform payroll processing administration and ensure that payroll is performed on a timely basis and accurately.
- Ensure all payments made are in compliance with company policies.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of all relevant documents (correspondences and reports) pertaining to payroll.
- Prepare payment vouchers for ad hoc payroll processing and approval reports pertaining to payroll.
- Prepare month-end payroll closing and reconciliation.
- File electronic IR21 for resigned foreign staff for tax clearance to IRAS
- Handle payroll related enquiries from employees.
2.
IRAS
- Involved in annual year-end tax reporting.
3.
Ad hoc
- Process employees' NSmen make-up pay claims and Government-Paid Leaves Claim in a timely manner.
- Perform any other duties appropriate to the post as required by Supervisor / HOD.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- At least 5 years of experience in processing Payroll
- Meticulous and eye for details
- Strong work ethics
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Independent and able to multi-task
- Mature and good team player
- Proficient in MS Office
- Familiar with payroll system such as Paymaster
