Job Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure consistent sales revenue.
- Manage sales activities with wholesalers and distributors within the fresh produce sector.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
- Engage regularly with clients to promote additional products and boost sales performance.
- Handle sales planning and administrative tasks related to the sales process.
- Meet or exceed established sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Conduct market research to maintain a competitive edge in the industry.
- Possess experience in supermarket sales operations.
- Be proactive in lead generation and business development.
- Basic knowledge of fresh produce is an advantage; however, strong sales skills and customer service orientation are essential. Perform other duties as assigned by management on an ad hoc basis.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in Business-to-Business (B2B) sales or a business development role.
- Diploma or Degree in a relevant field; qualifications in Sales or Information Technology are advantageous.
- At least 2 years of experience in the food trading industry.
- Proven success in sales, ideally within the food industry or a related field.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Results-oriented, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
