Job Description
- Familiarize himself with Company's Quality Management System and ensure its effective application
- Oversees daily consolidation operations
- Liaise with customer on operation issues.
- Export consolidation planning (SEA/Middle East/ USA)
- Dangerous goods applications
- Import and export consolidation documents & liaising with overseas agent
- Responding customer queries.
- Oversees Tradenet declarations
- Verify Overseas & Contractors' invoices
- Invoice billing
- Rates negotiation with Carrier & Co-loader
- Monitor and co-ordinate import & export shipments.
- Handling and preparation of shipping documents (eg: delivery order / billing of lading, tax invoice, arrival notice and others)
- Send BL and invoice to shipper and arrange telex release upon payment
- Check shipment status
- Arranging and coordinating for transportation / trucking.
- Liase with consignee / shipper on import shipment's arrangements.
- Send / fax arrival notice to consignee and arrange collection / delivery of cargoes.
- Submission of permits to shipping lines.
- Data entry and other assignments.
Job Requirements
- Possess "O" / "A" Level, Diploma in the relevant disciplines; Logistic/Transportation, Business Studies/Administration Management, Maritime Studies, Supply Chain, or equivalent
- Possess good communication and customer service skills.
- Meticulous with an eye for details.
- Pleasant personality with positive working attitude.
- Interested in data entry and doing documentation.
- Proficient in PC application ( MS Word, Excel )
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $2,500.00 - $3,000.00 per month
