About This Job
The role is responsible for leading, planning, scheduling, and overseeing the timely development and delivery of high-quality regional and/or global responses to JLL Work Dynamics business opportunities, from pre-RFP to post-submission activities, in a fast-paced environment. This role focuses predominantly on Portfolio Services (Transactions Management, Occupancy Planning, and Lease Administration), working in partnership with SMEs and leaders from each of these teams.
The role will be based in Singapore and will report to the Head of Proposal Management for Work Dynamics. This role acts as the immediate point of contact in APAC for new business RFIs and RFPs, and existing account renewals, which include LA, OPM and/or TM in scope – focusing predominantly on regional and global multi-service /enterprise opportunities (which include any of the Portfolio services as a component). The right candidate should be able to demonstrate experience working on Portfolio Services related proposals or significant other real estate services pursuits at a (minimum) regional or preferably global level and intimately understand the process involved in planning, ideating and creating world-class proposals.
This individual works as a connector between proposal, pricing, and Sales/Solution development colleagues for the above opportunities, both in our region and with global counterparts. There is an expectation that the right candidate will be able to articulate the overarching portfolio services solution in partnership with the SMEs who have created it through interesting and compelling client proposals and pitch presentations (for example yellow pads, BAFO presentations, clarification sessions etc.).
Responsibilities:
- Manage the successful development of compliant, competitive, and compelling Portfolio Services Solutions proposals through effective collaboration across teams that include sales, pricing, solution management, leadership, internal SMEs and in-country teams across the region.
- Apply experience and best practices in proposal team management to ensure the timely delivery of proposal submissions that are fully compliant with solicitation instructions.
- Lead and analyze RFI, RFQ, RFPs and other bid documents for requirements.
- Develop the proposal schedule, outline, compliance matrix, and proposal development plans.
- Establish and maintain the Teams collaboration site for each proposal.
- Work with the core pursuit team (sales, solutions, and pricing) to determine author assignments and integrate win strategy, themes, and discriminators into proposal.
- Provide insight, leadership, and work guidance to authors on all proposal content.
- Take ownership of the quality of the proposal for reviews and final delivery by performing rigorous quality assurance checks on draft and final documents.
- Prepare and lead efficient Proposal Kickoff meetings and daily status calls.
Key Skills/Qualifications:
- Ideally a Bachelor’s Degree with at least five to eight years of experience in Solution Development, Bid Management and/or Real Estate industry
- A hands-on background in Portfolio Services (Transaction Management, Lease Admin, Occupancy Planning) lines is advantageous.
- Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal), coupled with strong influencing skills – particularly at a senior level
- Proven track record of proposal management either leading a team or as an individual contributor in regional and/or global pursuits
- Fluency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Teams amongst other software platforms.
