The Strategic Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for leading procurement activities within the Company, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing solutions.
Job Description (of the role):
- Perform market analysis, develop, execute and drive strategic sourcing solutions in accordance with company needs
- Research and identify potential suppliers, work with stakeholders to evaluate their capabilities, reliability and pricing to ensure the value for the organization
- Assess and mitigate supply risk in the organization’s supply chain
- Manage and monitor key suppliers’ performance and supplier relationships
- Negotiate with suppliers for favourable price, terms and conditions, establish and manage contracts with key suppliers and projects
Qualifications Required:
- Degree in any discipline, Engineering preferred.
Skills & Abilities Required:
- Global strategic procurement/sourcing experience in manufacturing environment
- Proactive, independent, result-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset
