We are working closely with a well-established shipping firm in Singapore to identify a Technical Superintendent to manage their offshore vessel fleet. This role offers an excellent opportunity to be part of an innovative and progressive organization within the maritime sector.
Description:
- Conduct routine audits of assigned vessels and carry out a minimum of one sailing visit per vessel annually to ensure compliance and operational integrity.
- Oversee the planning and execution of vessel maintenance schedules, including repairs and dry dockings, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
- Ensure strict compliance with the company’s Planned Maintenance System (PMS) and provide technical guidance and support to onboard teams as required.
- Monitor and optimize vessel performance, focusing on operational efficiency, fuel consumption, and Carbon Intensity Indicator (CII) ratings.
- Manage and control vessel operating budgets, closely tracking maintenance and repair expenditures to stay within financial targets.
- Review and analyze vessel reports (weekly, monthly, and quarterly) and ensure accurate documentation is maintained in PMS, SharePoint, and other company archival systems.
Requirements:
- Minimum sailed as a 2nd Engineer onboard offshore vessels
- Currently onshore as a Technical Superintendent overseeing a fleet of offshore vessels
- Knowledge on Dynamic Positioning systems.
