Description
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager, Reservations, to oversee quotations, bookings, invoicing, and reservation processes for inbound travel, with a specialization in the China market. This role focuses on delivering exceptional service to Chinese clients, maintaining operational efficiency, and fostering strong relationships with clients and partners.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Prepare accurate and competitive travel quotations for Chinese clients and partners.
• Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate favorable rates and secure service availability. • Manage reservations for accommodations, transportation, tours, and other travel services.
- Input booking details into the reservation system accurately and provide timely confirmations.
- Generate and manage invoices for confirmed bookings.
- Monitor payments and follow up on outstanding balances to ensure prompt collection.
- Serve as the main point of contact for Chinese clients, delivering professional and responsive service.
- Address client inquiries and resolve issues to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure efficient operations and seamless service delivery.
- Provide guidance and support to junior reservation staff as required.
- Stay updated on travel trends and preferences in the China market.
- Analyse booking data and prepare reports to inform strategic decision-making.
