About the Role
We are looking for a highly strategic Creative Director to lead the creative vision and execution across product design, online experiences, and retail designs.. You will play a critical role in shaping how customers interact with our brand across every touchpoint—whether it’s through the products we build, the stores they visit, or the digital experiences they engage with.
This role demands a visionary leader who is as comfortable working on UX/UI and packaging design as they are with retail displays, brand storytelling, and omnichannel marketing campaigns. You will lead and inspire a cross-functional team to deliver exceptional, cohesive, and emotionally resonant brand experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Strategy & Brand Experience
- Develop and execute a holistic creative strategy that aligns with company vision and business objectives across digital, physical, and product realms.
- Translate brand values into compelling design language across all mediums—ensuring consistency, quality, and emotional impact.
- Own and evolve brand guidelines to reflect growth across new product lines and markets.
Product & Packaging Design
- Oversee product design direction—from concept to launch—collaborating with product managers, engineers, and industrial designers.
Lead the visual and structural design of packaging to ensure it aligns with both the brand and customer experience expectations.
Champion user-centered design principles across all touchpoints.
Digital & Online Experience
- Guide creative development for all digital channels: websites, apps, e-commerce, social, and performance marketing.
- Collaborate with digital product and UX/UI teams to ensure seamless, intuitive, and visually stunning digital experiences.
- Ensure digital storytelling enhances the brand narrative while supporting conversion goals.
Retail & Environmental Design
- Lead the design vision for physical retail environments, pop-ups, and event activations.
- Translate brand essence into spatial design—considering layout, signage, visual merchandising, and interactive displays.
- Collaborate with operations, real estate, and VM teams to ensure designs are functional, scalable, and on-brand.
Team Leadership & Creative Operations
- Manage and mentor a high-performing creative team including designers, copywriters, visual merchandisers and any freelance specialists.
- Foster a collaborative, feedback-rich environment that pushes boundaries while delivering on timelines.
- Implement creative processes and workflows to scale quality output efficiently across multiple teams and projects.
Requirements
- Minimum 6-8 years of creative experience with a strong portfolio showcasing work across digital, physical, and product design.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-disciplinary creative teams and delivering projects across multiple mediums and platforms.
- Deep understanding of design systems, UX/UI best practices, retail/environmental design, and packaging.
- Proficient in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and prototyping software; familiarity with 3D and CAD tools is a plus.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience collaborating with product, marketing, retail, and engineering teams.
- Strategic thinker with strong conceptual and storytelling ability.
- Experience in both agency and in-house roles is a plus
- Background in consumer electronics, retail, DTC, or lifestyle brands is a plus.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of customer experience and commercial impact of design.
