EHS Program Implementation
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS procedures, policies, and programs specific to offshore power plant fabrication.
- Collaborate with the project team to develop and implement project-specific EHS plans
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., construction, quality, engineering) to ensure EHS considerations are integrated into project planning and execution.
Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain 100% compliance with local EHS laws and client contractual requirements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant EHS regulations, standards, and industry best practices (e.g., OSHA, DNV).
- Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics, including incident rates, near-miss incidents, and audit findings.
- Manage permits, inspections, and audit records using digital EHS platforms (e.g., Intelex, SAP EHS).
Incident Prevention & Response
- Provide EHS training, orientation, and inductions to employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Conduct risk assessments (JHAs, PTW audits) for high-risk activities (working at heights, HV systems, heavy lifting).
- Investigate incidents/near-misses using RCA methodologies (e.g., TapRooT, ICAM).
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with contractors, clients, and regulators to resolve EHS concerns.
- Report EHS performance metrics to senior management.
Education
- Degree in EHS, Engineering, or a related field.
Specialized knowledge / experience
- Minimum 5+ years in energy or infrastructure projects (e.g., wind, oil & gas, grid systems, etc.).
- Knowledge of offshore power plant fabrication processes and associated hazards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficient in risk management, and project coordination.
- Familiar with local and international procurement regulations and standards relevant to the marine shipyard industry.
- Knowledge of contractor safety standards and supply chain risk management (preferred).
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
Accreditation / certification
- NEBOSH IGC/Diploma, OSHA 30, or equivalent.
