Event Manager
Salary:$3000 – $3500
Location: Island Wide
Working Hours: 12 hours
Job Summary:
- Plan, organize and execute events including corporate functions, conferences, trade shows, product launches and social gatherings.
- Collaborate with clients or internal teams to understand event objectives, requirements and budgets.
- Source and manage vendors (venues, catering, AV, entertainment, etc) and negotiate contracts.
- Develop detailed event plans, schedules and budgets, ensuring all activities are delivered on time and within scope.
- Manage on-site event setup, execution and breakdown
- Coordinate logistics such as transportation, accommodation, equipment, signage and staff requirements
- Handle event promotion, marketing, and social media outreach when required
- Supervise event staff and volunteers
- Monitor event performance and provide post-event reports and feedback Ensure all events comply with safety, legal and health regulations
Requirements:
- 1-3 years Experience as an Event Manager or similar role
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficient in MS Office and event management software/tools
- Knowledge of budgeting and vendor management
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and travel when necessary Diploma or degree in Event Management, Marketing, Hospitality or related field required
