Responsibilities:
- Aggressively source and secure new accounts and business for Airfreight / Oceanfreight/ Warehousing services
- Conduct market research to identify business strategy, to meet customer objectives and evaluating the prospect company's position in the industry.
- Actively seek out new Japanese sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media
- Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their needs and concerns
- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
- Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
- Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
- Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
- Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams
Requirements and skills:
- Fluent in Japanese language as needed to support Japanese customers.
- Good writing skill in Japanese for reporting to Japan HQ.
- Possess bachelor’s degree in Japan University.
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or relevant role in international Forwarding and warehousing business
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent marketing and negotiating techniques
- Fast learner and passion for Japanese sales and warehousing service
