Summary
NTU Honours College is seeking a forward-thinking and experienced Manager, Programmes to lead a suite of high-impact, student-focused initiatives aimed at nurturing future-ready leaders. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape student development across five signature programmes: the Personal Development Programme, Student Ambassador Programme, Singapore Global Affairs Symposium, Create-Your-Own-Course (CYOC), and a Venture Creation Programme. The successful candidate will work closely with NTU’s departments and external partners to drive strategic vision, operational excellence, and meaningful student engagement.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and programme management for five major initiatives focused on leadership, innovation, and global citizenship.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to co-design and co-deliver programmes.
  • Mentor and supervise student leaders and organising committees, fostering student ownership and growth.
  • Oversee the implementation of selection processes, programme structures, learning outcomes, and assessment frameworks.
  • Manage programme budgets, resources, timelines, and risk mitigation to ensure operational success.
  • Plan and execute high-profile events, including symposiums, industry networking sessions, and ambassadorial engagements.
  • Monitor programme effectiveness through student feedback, impact metrics, and continuous improvement cycles.
  • Champion innovation in student-driven learning initiatives, including the launch and scaling of pilot ideas.
Job Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s university degree in any discipline.
  • A Master’s degree or postgraduate qualification is preferred.
  • Deep understanding of student development, experiential learning, and co-curricular programme design.
  • Familiarity with academic systems and cross-sector partnerships in higher education.
  • Knowledge of career readiness, leadership development, global affairs, and venture creation is advantageous.
  • At least 10 years of experience in higher education, programme management, student affairs, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional projects and working with students, faculty, and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in mentoring student leaders and managing complex, multi-partner initiatives.
  • Strong strategic thinking, programme design, and project management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Effective leadership and team management experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications; familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
  • Passionate about student development and global citizenship.
  • Resourceful, adaptable, and proactive.
  • High integrity, professionalism, and a collaborative mindset.
