We are seeking a strong analytical and execution-focused business leader to support the APAC Strategy Head. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on delivery, ideal for a candidate who can both design impactful initiatives and drive them to measurable results.
The successful candidate will bring top-tier consulting experience and a proven track record in digital, fintech, and consumer sectors, with the ability to operate across diverse markets in Asia.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives from concept through execution, aligning teams and driving growth and operational performance.
- Conduct structured business analysis including market sizing, financial modeling, competitive analysis, portfolio strategy, funnel optimization, and CRM/retention modeling.
- Establish transformation offices and performance dashboards, tracking 50+ metrics to ensure accountability and business impact across multiple business units.
- Translate complex business challenges into actionable insights and clear execution roadmaps for regional and BU leadership.
- Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders (CEOs, BU heads, and cross-market leaders), ensuring alignment and communication across regions and functions.
- Present strategy proposals, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership, influencing regional and global decision-making.
- Drive innovation and new technology adoption by researching and piloting emerging trends (e.g., GenAI in insurance, CRM technologies, and e-commerce solutions).
Requirements
- 6-8 years of professional experience in strategy, business analysis, and operational transformation.
- Prior experience in a top-tier management consulting firm (McKinsey, BCG, Bain), with strong exposure to digital, fintech, and consumer sectors.
- Hands-on experience in Strategy, PMO/Transformation Office, Commercial Excellence, or COO/GM Office initiatives.
- Proven track record of leading growth transformation programs, designing roadmaps, and implementing business solutions that deliver measurable results.
- Deep understanding of the Southeast Asia and China business environment, with regional experience strongly preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership in multicultural environments.
- MBA (INSEAD or equivalent) preferred.
- Strong proficiency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin, as this role involves frequent communication with regional and China-based stakeholders.
