The Role
Presidio is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Sales Support Executive to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will support our Sales team by coordinating administrative and operational activities that drive efficiency and ensure exceptional service delivery. Acting as a key liaison between internal departments and external partners, you will facilitate seamless sales transactions—from quotations to order fulfilment—while helping maintain strong supplier relationships and optimized processes.
Responsibilities include:
- Sourcing & Procurement: Collaborate with clients to source IT hardware and related products. Use a flexible, solution-oriented approach to overcome complex supply chain challenges.
- Sales Support: Assist the Sales team by preparing proposals, quotations, and relevant documentation. Generate sales reports and dashboards to support business decisions.
- Order Management: Oversee order timelines and manage inventory levels to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a solid understanding of Presidio’s offerings, vendor landscape, and product catalogue.
- Supplier & Manufacturer Relationships: Manage day-to-day interactions and terms with suppliers and manufacturers.
- Process Optimization: Help to uphold and improve processes to continually improve the business efficiency and overall service to Presidio customers.
- Logistics Coordination: Work closely with suppliers and warehouse teams to coordinate order dispatch and delivery schedules.
- Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with key partners by understanding their internal workflows and aligning them with Presidio’s operational processes.
- Finance Support: Liaise with the Finance team to track outstanding invoices, follow up on pending deliveries, and monitor supplier credit limits.
- Reporting: Produce regular performance reports (e.g., SLA, KPI metrics) to track departmental efficiency and identify improvement areas.
Required Skills and Professional Experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple administrative and operational tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders.
- Proven experience working in a sales support or administrative role within the IT sector.
- Solid computing and data entry skills, including proficiency with ERP tools.
- Prior experience in the IT distribution or reseller channel is highly advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
