Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Sales and Business Development Manager to lead and grow our enterprise business in Singapore. This leadership role is ideal for someone with a strong track record in telecommunications or related technology solutions, a strategic mindset, and a hunter mentality. The ideal candidate will be deeply familiar with the enterprise sales landscape in Singapore, capable of building C-level relationships, and driving both direct and channel-led growth.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership
- Own and deliver the sales target and revenue growth for the Singapore market.
- Develop and execute the sales strategy for enterprise clients, including MNCs, large local enterprises, and strategic verticals (e.g., financial services, tech, logistics).
- Lead complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.
Business Development
- Identify new business opportunities and partnerships across telco, Metro Ethernet, cloud connectivity, IP Network, data center, and managed network services.
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline through proactive outreach, market engagement, and partnership building.
- Lead bids, RFPs, and commercial negotiations with both existing and new clients.
Enterprise Account Management
- Serve as a trusted advisor to enterprise clients, driving account growth, retention, and satisfaction.
- Understand client requirements and work with internal teams (engineering, product, and operations) to develop tailored solutions.
Market & Competitor Intelligence
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitor offerings in the Singapore and regional market.
- Provide feedback to product and executive teams to support roadmap and service development.
Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of B2B sales experience, with at least 5 years in a telecommunications, network infrastructure, or cloud connectivity environment.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets, especially in the Singapore enterprise segment.
- Strong network of enterprise decision-makers, influencers, and ecosystem partners.
- Good understanding of telecom products such as MPLS, L2 circuit, cross-border connectivity, and cloud interconnects.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Highly self-motivated, strategic, and execution-oriented.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
