Born as a hole-in-the-wall bakery in Canggu, Bali, Starter Lab quickly became a destination for lovers of handcrafted sourdough. In Singapore, we’ve built a community that embraces our philosophy: slow fermentation, wild yeast, natural ingredients — and time.
We are now looking for passionate, skilled, and dedicated Bakers to join us at our production bakery in Tai Seng , where the magic of Singapore’s best sourdough is made daily.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Collaborate with the Executive Baker and team to plan daily and weekly production.
- Measure and mix ingredients precisely, following recipes to maintain Starter Lab’s signature quality.
- Shape products by hand with care and consistency.
- Practice accuracy in scaling — because precision matters in baking.
- Maintain an eye for detail across all stages of the process: mix, proof, shape, bake .
- Help maintain the cleanliness, organization, and flow of the bakery.
What We’re Looking For
✅ At least 1 year of professional baking or pastry experience , OR 2 years of culinary experience .
✅ Professional, positive attitude — a can-do spirit!
✅ Deep passion for baking and genuine curiosity to learn.
✅ Strong communication skills and attention to detail .
✅ Some experience working with sourdough is preferred — if not, we’ll train you if you’ve got the passion!
