The new role of Technical Manager, CrowdStrike – ASEAN will lead our team of Solutions Architects in ASEAN
In this role while leading you will create and maintain a standard of technical excellence across ASEAN countries.
Our Technical organisation under your leadership will be delivering best in class technical services for our cloud vendor partners and our reseller partners across ASEAN.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Strategic Leadership, Planning & Relationships
a. Develop and maintain a Technical Executive relationship with CrowdStrike partners, and our key focus partners in ASEAN
b. Develop a CrowdStrike technical services strategy
c. Cascade our strategy to your team and drive execution of the plan with them
d. Maintain current knowledge of new and emerging trends in the cloud market
e. Prepare and deliver stage presentations
2. Team Management
a. Lead your team of ASEAN CrowdStrike Solutions Architects/Pre Sales engineers,
b. Build, lead and develop your team of Solutions Architects to understand all aspects of technical services which are needed by CrowdStrike
c. Ensure our Solutions Architects are working in lock step with the local CrowdStrike_ sales team in everyday engagements
3. Singapore Pre Sales
a. Until our business grows, this role will also be the hands-on presales for the Singapore market for CrowdStrike
b. Work closely with the sales and product teams
c. Conduct CrowdStrike security assessments to drive sales opportunity
d. Conduct Proof-Of-Concept (POC) and prepare technical proposals
e. Conduct solution presentation and workshops
f. Provide pre and post-sales support
g. Propose and explore new and’ upcoming technologies in the market
4. Sales Development & Progression
a. Work with our CrowdStrike sales team to understand where our CrowdStrike Technical team is needed to support
b. Provide technical support for preparation of vendor, cloud reseller or end user tenders
c. Enable your team to provide best in class POCs and demonstrations of our cloud partner’s technology
d. Enable your team to deliver technical workshops and other 1:1 technical engagement to help progress our cloud sales pipeline
e. Provide SOPs and SOWe as required for our work – repeatable templates where possible
5. Training & Enablement
a. Develop an enablement curriculum for your team and our partners that is well documented, repeatable and easily scalable across your team
b. Create a regular cadence of training sessions which partners from ASEAN can attend
c. Enable your team to deliver training during in person sessions in country
6 . Partner Development
a. Create a partner development framework that enables partners to progress through vendor tiers and adopt new specializations or competencies
b. Enable your team to project manage the development of our key focus partners
c. Ensure our In Country Solutions Architects enable our partners and maintain key relationships in CrowdStrike and their reseller partners
d. Have your team always on the lookout for new reseller partners we can develop a CrowdStrike partnership with, and notify our CrowdStrike sales BDMs
Experience:
- 10+ years experience in a technical role
- 5+ years experience in cybersecurity
- Good knowledge of Security Design Architecture, OSI model, TCP/IP model, Network Security and Protocols
- Knowledge of CrowdStrike technologies
- Knowledge of how to deliver CrowdStrike security assessments is desirable
- Team leadership experience
- Ability and comfort to deliver impactful stage presentations to mid to large audiences
- ASEAN experience is desirable
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant discipline
- Current CrowdStrike Certifications relevant to this job description desirable
- Proven communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
