We are offering one exceptional candidate the chance to work as our Marketing Assistant Manager, Asia Pacific.

Within this role you will develop, lead and direct complex marketing campaigns from brief to execution. You will need to work closely with senior stakeholders across the business to understand their needs and influence their understanding of the role marketing can play in achieving success through the development of effective campaign plans, supported with clear, measurable objectives. You will be required to manage virtual delivery teams made up of global and regional marketers, comms professionals, product and sector experts, giving clear, decisive and thoughtful direction on individual projects and objectives.

Responsibilities

Marketing Campaign Development:

  • Lead the design and execution of regional marketing campaigns by collaborating with stakeholders to establish clear briefs, measurable objectives, and actionable plans.
  • Manage and guide virtual teams of regional and local marketers and communications professionals to ensure successful campaign delivery.
  • Collaborate with global and cross-business unit marketers to leverage existing assets and maintain aligned messaging.
  • Monitor and track campaign progress against plans and budgets, providing regular updates and reports to key stakeholders.
  • Oversee the management of sector-specific marketing budgets.

Brand and Content Creation:

  • Educate and empower colleagues on global brand guidelines and processes to ensure consistency.
  • Partner with the global content team and external partners to craft content and assets that align with campaign briefs and support overarching global messaging.
  • Create and maintain customer-facing content in our global asset repository to ensure accessibility and relevance.
  • Collaborate with local and regional subject matter experts to produce thought leadership content that elevates DHL’s profile in media and industry publications.

Sales Partnership:

  • Advocate for the utilization of tools, resources, and processes that enhance the efficiency of the growth team.
  • Drive customer satisfaction, retention, and account growth through collaborative marketing initiatives.
  • Work alongside customer marketing teams to develop co-branded press releases and marketing efforts.

Events and Communications:

  • Oversee DHL’s participation in industry and customer events, from assessing event suitability to managing target audience engagement and lead generation.
  • Collaborate with the DHL Group corporate communications team to enhance the visibility of key stakeholders in the media.
  • Provide guidance to functional teams on essential regional customer communications.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in developing and delivering omni-channel marketing campaigns, with proven event management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, or a related field.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation abilities.
  • Experience working in global, regional, and country environments, including virtual and cross-cultural teams.
  • Regularly reviews and communicates progress against objectives, making adjustments as needed.
  • Champions continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
