[What the role is]
The Sustainability Division (SD) plans, strategises and develops initiatives to drive resource conservation and environmental sustainability across the public, private and people sectors. It develops and promotes programmes, coordinates and administers incentive schemes, and builds capability to support this drive. It also coordinates efforts within NEA for the organisation and its staff to play its own part in meeting the national targets as set out in the Singapore Green Plan 2030 and Greengov.sg.Specifically, you will be part of the Households Branch under the Department of Sustainable Packaging Policy and Household Programmes, working in a fast-paced environment that will be involved in the planning, development and implementation of strategies and initiatives to enhance household energy efficiency and domestic recycling.
[What you will be working on]
Detailed work scope includes the following:
Support the review and implementation of the enhanced Climate Friendly Households Programme (CFHP), such as
Reviewing programme design and eligible products under the programme
Addressing feedback, enquiries and appeals from members of the public
Engaging with government agencies (e.g. MOF, GovTech), internal and external stakeholders (e.g. retailers) on the programme implementation
Engaging with participating retailers on CFHP operation matters
Conducting data analysis to enhance operational efficiency and evaluate programme effectiveness
Supporting in other ad-hoc duties
Support the review and implementation of domestic recycling initiatives
[What we are looking for]
This job might be for you if you possess the following qualities:
Preferably 2 years of relevant experience in stakeholder engagement/customer service, data analysis, or sustainability fields; and/or regulatory/programme management roles
Experience in managing large-scale programmes and budget; developing/implementing recycling/energy efficiency initiatives/programmes would be highly advantageous
Excellent writing and communication skills
Quantitative skills in data synthesis, data analysis and projections.
Proficient in MS Excel and other data analytics tools (e.g. R, Qlik)
Dynamic and pleasant personality, with excellent interpersonal skills to engage diverse stakeholders
Meticulous with an eye for detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good team player, resourceful, resilient, highly self-motivated, and adaptable
Organised and good at multi-tasking
