We are seeking a highly organised and proactive individual to join our team as a Bunker Operations Admin . This role plays a key part in supporting bunkering activities by ensuring accurate records, smooth coordination with suppliers and vessels, timely processing of invoices, and effective handling of disputes.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicative, and eager to grow in the shipping and bunkering industry. This position offers valuable hands-on exposure to maritime operations while contributing to the efficiency and reliability of daily bunker supply functions.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Maintain accurate records of bunkering activities and update the company’s database.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vessels, and agents to confirm orders and monitor delivery status.
- Process invoices on time and ensure compliance with payment terms.
- Assist in handling disputes on bunker quantity/quality with proper documentation.
- Provide administrative and basic bookkeeping support as required.
Qualifications
- Training will be provided; prior maritime experience not required.
- A diploma or degree in Maritime Studies or a related field is advantageous
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team player with a proactive and reliable attitude.
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
