Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Director to lead and grow our business opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving strategic partnerships, expanding market presence, and identifying new revenue streams to support the company’s long-term growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies aligned with company goals.
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
- Lead negotiations and close high-value deals and commercial agreements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments to ensure alignment of business objectives.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions.
- Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals, presentations, and reports to leadership.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking engagements.
- Mentor and lead a high-performing business development team (if applicable).
- Monitor, analyze, and report on business development performance and KPIs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- At least 8–10 years of relevant experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or sales.
- Proven success in driving business growth and securing new revenue streams.
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Experience in [insert relevant industry] is a strong advantage.
