Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities in agriculture and related verticals.
- Work with leadership to refine and implement strategic growth plans in target markets.
- Manage a robust pipeline of prospects, focusing on verticals such as indoor farming, smart cities, industrial automation, and food production facilities.
- Foster and maintain relationships with enterprise clients, OEMs, system integrators, and technology partners.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure alignment of customer needs with product capabilities.
- Prepare and deliver compelling solution proposals, product demos, and ROI-driven business cases.
- Negotiate pricing, contractual terms, and strategic deals to meet company objectives.
- Maintain awareness of competitor activity, industry trends, and emerging IoT technologies.
- Represent Greenphyto at trade shows, conferences, and client meetings to expand brand presence and generate leads.
- Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets and KPIs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of B2B sales or business development experience, with at least 2 years focused on IoT, automation, or connected technologies.
- Strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems and their role in production or agricultural operations.
- Familiarity with IoT protocols (e.g., MQTT, CoAP), connectivity standards (e.g., NB-IoT), and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS IoT, Azure IoT).
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage strategic relationships across stakeholders, including C-level executives.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to grasp technical concepts and convert them into business value propositions.
- Experience in SaaS sales, hardware/software integration, or embedded systems is highly desirable.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and capable of working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Exposure to AMR systems, industrial robotics, or embedded control platforms.
- Knowledge of edge computing, AI/ML applications in IoT, or data analytics for agriculture.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity in industrial or connected environments.
- Multilingual or experience working across international markets is a plus.
