Job Description
- Perform business development to develop market share to achieve company objectives, revenue targets & KPIs
- Implement/Refine/Execute the overall sales & marketing strategies to achieve goals
- Secure potential business deals/partnerships, generate new clients & business revenues
- Proactively cultivate mutually beneficial sales relationships with new & potential clients
- Provide recommendations or make decisions to establish new successful business
- Support Director in reviewing business performance, evaluation & budgets for the team & organisation.
- Supports Accounts Receivables and ageing issues where required
- Ad-hoc duties assigned by superior
Requirements
- 5 years of working experience and proven track record of success in new business development or sales roles within the 3PL or contract logistics industry
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills to engage with senior-level stakeholders
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify and capitalise on market opportunities
- Familiarity with logistics operations, supply chain management and contract logistics services
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Diploma / Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or a related field
